Love Never Dies
Phantom of the Opera

The Phantom is back in the West End this weekend.

The WhatsOnStage Award-winning concert production of Love Never Dies, directed by Shaun Kerrison, opens at the London Palladium tonight, with performances on 16, 17 and 18 October 2026. The concert is part of the 40th anniversary celebrations for The Phantom of the Opera.

Jamie Muscato plays the Phantom and Celinde Schoenmaker plays Christine, with George Blagden as Raoul, Courtney Stapleton as Meg and Mazz Murray as Giry. Holly James (Fleck), Nic Greenshields (Squelch) and Charles Brunton (Gangle) complete the cast.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s sequel picks up the story ten years after the Phantom vanished from the Paris Opera House. He has started a new life in New York, where his music can finally flourish, but he still longs for Christine Daaé.

To win her back, he draws Christine, her husband and their young son Gustave across the Atlantic for one last performance.

Rebecca Brower designs the set and costumes, Joanna Goodwin choreographs, Tim Deiling designs the lighting and Paul Gatehouse the sound, and Simon Lee is music supervisor.

The show has music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, a book by Lloyd Webber and Ben Elton with Glenn Slater and Frederick Forsyth, and lyrics by Glenn Slater with additional lyrics by Charles Hart. It is produced by Darren Bell and Cuffe & Taylor for Live Nation, by arrangement with LW Entertainment.
