Louise joined LW Entertainment as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel in 2024. She leads legal, music strategy and operations, working in close partnership with the company’s licensing teams across theatrical, live, immersive and themed entertainment, as well as music, consumer products and merchandise.
Louise is an experienced General Counsel with over 20 years in the entertainment industry. She began her legal career at leading law firm Wragge & Co (now Gowlings) before joining the legal team at Penguin Books Limited in 2003. During her 13 years at Penguin, she supported the children’s and adults’ divisions, focusing on publishing, marketing, and licensing of consumer products and ancillary rights. In 2016 Louise joined The Blair Partnership, a leading literary and entertainment agency representing J.K. Rowling and managing the Harry Potter franchise where she served as Group General Counsel and a member of the leadership team. In this role, Louise was deeply involved in business strategy, commercial deal-making, operations, innovation projects, and governance across The Blair Partnership, Pottermore, and associated companies.
